You can ship rats?!

Yes! Well, okay, technically! You see, you don't ship rats via UPS, USPS, Fedex or anything of the sort. Rather, they are shipped via airlines! Just as someone can ship, say, a dog or a cat! It's a very complicated, very long process but most of all? It's expensive. Below you will find a basic run down of the base prices of shipping rats. You will also find my policies on shipping! Please note if I have forgotten anything, or if you have any questions- you can always always message me!

AS OF 4 / 10 / 2016 THIS IS STILL A WIP. SHIPPING WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE UNTIL LATE AUGUST AT THE EARLIEST.

Note these are BASE prices- additional costs could always occur depending on your location.

Note that RX3 CANNOT ship outside of the mainland United States. Once an airline fee has been ordered if you need a refund you MUST CONTACT ME within the appropriate cancellation time according to the airlines. I cannot give you a refund if I don't have a refund to give.

Once the carrier has been ordered you cannot get a refund. Ratties will be shipped through PETSAFE from united airlines.

BASE FEES:
Airline Fees: $100
Carrier: $42
Gas / Time(This entire process takes a 2 hour drive, 3 hour wait time in the airport, and 1-2 weeks of insanity to get done!): $50
Carrier supplies: $10
TOTAL BASE: $210

Additional fees:
The rats you have purchased: This is non refundable after the rats hit 4 weeks. That gives you 7 days to think about your decision.

Kennel fees if you are late: If you are late picking up your animals YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE for the kenneling fees and any taxes there of.

If you order more than 5 juvenile rats / 3 adult rats you may need to order an extra carrier and pay for additional fees. The carrier must remain under 10 pounds in order for these prices to be accurate.

OPTIONAL FEES:
Vet health certificate: Contact in advance as I need to set up the vet appointment and it depends on what vet is available!

Divider: (If adopting males and females / younger stock / older stock) contact in advance as I need to know how many to order! Will only adopt males and females out to breeders who have personally contacted me first.

What you MUST HAVE when going to pick up your rats: a VALID state ID with an address / name that matches the information you had me place on the shipping label. Any paperwork emailed to you.

Please arrive 30 minutes to an hour before your babies arrive! You may need to go to the appropriate desk!

Bring a water bottle and keep it in your car. Your ratties may be thirsty when they arrive!

Personal policies:

I will not ship a single rat. You must adopt at least 2, but 3 is preferred.

I will not ship males and females without a divider.

I will not ship juvinial rats / adult rats without a divider.

Your rats will not ship out until 8 weeks old.
